Merchants' Festival Crowd
It is time to start planning for Festival on Main to be held on the square in downtown Granite Falls, Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
 
Granite Falls Merchants Association is looking for vendors with handmade items, ceramics, wood and tin workers, etc. along with food vendors to join this year’s festival.
 
A NON-REFUNDABLE ENTRY FEE must be paid to guarantee selling space for the artist or craftsman. All food vendors (including non-profit organizations) using flammable equipment like stoves, grills and fryers, MUST supply NCDA certifications and proof of insurance to the festival organizers and abide with Caldwell County Health Department regulations. Proof of insurance can be sent with the application or emailed to granitefallsma@gmail.com if you do not have it at the time of application. Insurance proof must be received by August 30th for all food vendors.
 
Applications received after the deadline of August 31, 2024 must pay a $20 late registration fee. Spaces are limited, so return your application as soon as possible.
 
All entries must supply their own tents, tables, chairs, etc.
 
Exhibit spaces will be numbered on a first come, first served basis after the pre-registration and receipt of your entry fee. Spaces will be approximately 16 feet x 12 feet. All exhibitors are asked to please send a photograph of their work along with their entry fee (unless you are a previous vendor). Space numbers will be given when you check in on the morning of the festival.
 
Check-in time the day of the Festival will begin at 12:00 pm, PLEASE, NO EARLIER. You may arrive any time that is convenient to you but PLEASE do not park in the square area of the downtown, we have provided you spaces as close as possible to leave your vehicles after setting up. You may use this area if you arrive prior to 12:00 pm. The town maintenance department will not start blocking the streets until 12:00 pm. Set-up time will be from 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm. Vehicles must be outside of the exhibit area by 1:30 pm. We ask that you PLEASE KEEP YOUR BOOTH OPEN UNTIL 8:00 PM. Your items must be removed at the end of the festival. No items can remain for pick up later. This includes trailers. This is for your safety as well as others.
 
ALL PARTICIPANTS (EXHIBITORS, DEMONSTRATORS, SELLERS, ETC) AGREE NOT TO HOLD GRANITE FALLS MERHANTS ASSOCIATION OR ANY INSTITUION OR GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS, INJURY, DAMAGE OR THEFT OF THEIR PROPERTY OR PERSONS.
 
ALL VENDORS WILL BE APPROVED BY A COMMITTEE. If you are not sure of the nature of your craft or if you have a combination of accepted work and non-accepted work, PLEASE CALL US. Be assured we will work with you in any way possible. We need you, your exhibit is the reason we will be successful.
