The Granite Falls Police Department strives to improve the quality of life of all citizens by enforcing the laws of the United States, the laws of the State of North Carolina, and the ordinances of the Town of Granite Falls. The Granite Falls Police Department strives to preserve peace while protecting the rights of all, in a fair and impartial manner, recognizing the need for justice and the consistent appearance of justice. The Granite Falls Police Department will maintain the highest standard of professionalism, integrity and accountability in partnership with the entire community.

First let me say how proud I am of the Granite Falls Police Department and that I am honored to be its leader. The men and women of this department are a wonderful group of people who have dedicated their lives to protect and serve. This is the pledge we make to the people of Granite Falls. We are dedicated to providing the citizens of Granite Falls a quality and professional law enforcement agency while being responsive to the needs of the community. Highly trained and motivated men and women are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This site is our way of presenting to you a more detailed view of the Granite Falls Police Department and the many ways that we work, "To Protect and Serve" our community. We encourage open communication with our citizens and actively seek their assistance in working toward our number one priority of making the Town of Granite Falls a safer town.
